For me, art deco buildings (lots of buildings from the 1930's), Frank Lloyd Wright designs, and modern expressionism themes are what I like. My favourite building in my area (excluding towers) is no doubt the Ponte City apartment building! It is a good article, read it: www.joburg.org.za/2003/dec/dec24_ponte.stmI am now very excited to hear all of your favourite buildings. I will try to make up a ranked list for myself in the meantime...

frank loyd wright, yes, he's the man.
for the Midwest, at least they have Sears tower on lake michigan. It is decent to see. I have seen it from the Indiana State dunes(on lake michigan),and it is "cool".

the Petronas Towers.... WOW that's a nice looking building... and i heard that in Pusan, S.Korea they are building a skyscraper will have a 20,000 gallon thank at the top that's used for stability in case of really dast winds... and if it ever catches fire Pusan city fire dept can always tap that tank to put it out....

North American sports? I'm already lost. I'll stick with the ''Boks'' (Springboks- a rugby team)!
