autoweeks website and magazine.
It may sound silly, but all they talk about is same stuff(mainly, past month, Chrysler 300, for example, or Exotic cars and suv's, stuff most mortals can not afford).
Used to be more mainstream, 10-30grand vehicles, and oocasionally 100,000dollars cars.
They also mentioned the Aquada car from England 3 trimes in 4 weeks, with the promise of "this is the last time we'll bring it up".
On top of this, the website is stuck in "big 3 USa/Japan" mentality.
Meniton Hyundai or Kia, and maybe 3 or 4 others agree they are worthy competetion these days to other makers, and the rest flame and bash, despite factural information presented to them(in other words, Opinions, to them, are facts).
Another thing I have noticed to a degree, HyundaiKia bashing in the mags by the "test drivers" themselves.
They do not go out full flame, but they sure do not go outta their way(like someother editors did 3 years ago) to sayhow good Elantra, Sonata, etc, are these days. They may say"They are doing better, BUT, ..." and the flaming begins(as if they just finished making excels yesterday).
When my subscription runs out next March, No More.
I e-mailed the editors once, and no replies(they had worng info on Elantra, and I corrcted them with some Edmunds info.... guess they did not like that).
It seems, on AW anyways, there is a Minor backlash to HyundaiKia's rising popularity.
I should have sent the link , also, to voting for your favorite cars a few weeks ago(almost did, but did not know if it would conflict here).
Maybe Hyundai would have gotten noticed.\
What is funny is AW never had a Hyudnai for 1 year long term, like Emunds has(they liked the elantra A LOT!
).
People will never wake up, some won't. Just sitck with same old ideas.
