well, here in SW Ohio, it went from 88 degrees and 90% humidity, and daily thunderstorms a week ago, down to low 70's, low humidity and lows near 50 for the past week! it feels like September here(hey, I ain't complaining!). Supposed to be low-mid80's and humid this time of year(which I do not miss).
If it stays nice, we may go see fireworks for the 4th, if it is 88 and feels like 108.... A/C for us. No major travel plans.
How about you all? DAV

It has rained here everyday for the last 2 months...i really love the rain but its getting annoying now. The highs have been around 80 here which is pretty much the norm. We have had some great thunderstorms and a few funnel clouds which is very rare up here in the mountains. We usually go to www.biltmore.com to watch the fireworks which are just amazing. Its just 10 mins away from my house but it feels like your in another land.

Well, we are having our winter right now. Unfortunately, that means colder weather. However, Canada taught me what cold REALLY means, so I am not complaining.
Terrific thunderstorms occur occasionally here, and our weather goes really weird this time of year, but I can't complain. Africa is thought of as sweltering, but it is about 10 degrees celsius here right now in the South, so many people are panicking. To me, 10 is fair...

Well, here in the San Francisco Bay Area, it get really foggy and cold in San Fran during the summer, so if you ever visit San Franciso, fall or spring would be the best time! But anyway, it's actually much cooler than normal here, mid 80s to low 90s. By mid July though, it will be high 90s to low 100s.

2lazy2login. Here's a list oif stuff Viriginia has for the 4th, we used to go to Mount Trashmore, in va beach(last place mentioned in this post..) it used to be a garbage dump, turned into a great park*( can roller blade these days, from what I read, on some pro-like courses, fish, od th epaddle baot deal, feed the ducks and gees, joggin and bicycle paths, and they may have a man made winter slide thing down the hill(think it is 80-100 feet tall, the "mount" is) and great fireworks. I read the did a fly over with air force jets, too, before. We went there a lot. Pretty fun. Wish Ohio had stuff like this . We have tolerable fireworks, but no fireworks by the beach(unless you maybe go to Lake Erie, which is a bit of a drive for us), or "mount trashmores" www1.richmond.com/output.cfm?id=1490118

Oh, I hear L.A. traffic is also HORRIBLE! Here, in the Joburg-to-Pretoria stretch we are having severe traffic problems!

stop and go stop and go... Hmmm... I would say that about here. Except it's more like 'stop.'... not too much 'go'...
