Went to the store and got a wheelbarrow, and put it right into the car, seats down, hatch closed(it was turned upside down, though) no problem.
Last May, we got a water softener, it was in a box about 5'6" tall and 30" wide. Got it inot the car, hatch shut, with 80 pounds of salt for the softener. 2 people rode up front.
I told some guys I know that this car is the reason why I do not need a truck to buy stufflike a push lawn mower, or other itmes I mentioned. Cars are more fun,too. Better MPG. Look "cooler". They don't get it.

Oh yah, hatchbacks are amazing.
One of my cars which I have now sold for moving is my 1990 Mazda323 3-door hatchback...
it is prolly the most useful cars I have even layed eyes on in my life!
