when it rains, etc, first take off, feels like I have an almost flat tire, and noise from rear end, either side, until I stop, or use emergency brakes(when stopped), and seems to loosen the brakes? Sounds like the whole thing will fall out from under the car(and you can feel it, like shaking the car! Any ideas? car is almost 2 months ol.d, 2,750 miles. Called the mechanic at the dealership,. he said it may take awhile fo rthe "self adjuster" to loosen up and work properly? (did not happen in my 99, until about 115,000 miles).
He said to wait until 5000+ miles, or another month or two, and if it keeps happening when it rains, to call and bring it in.
Anyone else experience this?

Perhaps you need to have your rear wheels rebalanced or their over inflated.

when it happened today, i barely lifted up on th eemergency brake handle(not enough to even make a noise, etc ) the "thumping " stopped. May just be EB needs readjustment? well, it is good for free readjustment up to 12,000/1yr....

yeah, I am surprised they told me "to wait" another 2000 miles yet! Well, it ain't gonna go away w.o something being done, and the dealership, under warranty , will be doing this probably before end of the year, when I hit 5K miles....because it will be taken care of, or i call the 800 number on 'em. Hey, seems delaerships(not just Hyudnai, Scion also) are nto do PBI(pre-buyer Inspections)....PDI...et al. Both cars had tires over inflated from shipping to 40+ lbs when cold...... Seems they get them, and sell them, and hope nothing happens? Ain;t like "the old days of 1990".
