There is no need to update or to improve the locking system. As of 2002, all Hyundai’s power door lock systems have a single twist with the key (or one click of the remote) to unlock the drivers door, a second twist or click will unlock all the other doors. In a crash situation, the SRS system will unlock all doors, should they be locked.

sillylance, you seem to CENSORED quite abit about things you know little of. Most companies reufse to use the automatic locking above 15 mph because of their tendency to NOT unlock in the event of a crash. If you want that one with that option, buy a domestic and deal with the impending problems.

That quirk on Korean cars is kinda annoying, i think japanese, american, european cars have a system you have to press the remote or turn the key twice for all the doors to unlock, i think their power door locks need improvement, most cars do have system when the bags deploy all the power doors unlocks that good that most korean cars made an effort in that, they use those power lock systems you can for buy 100 bucks usd.

There are onlt 2 of the new models that don't use a 2 stage lock system. The Sonata and XG. Looks like we have another know-it-all D-elphi. Get your "facts" straight.
