Amanti. Sophistication and features (and safety etc.) that the XG could never reach.

i generally agree, but i dont like the rounded c-pillar (a la towne car) or the styling of the front grille

couldnt agree more. tho in person it really is breathtaking. the rear view is nice in real life... just beautiful... the rounded C-pillar gives good rear headroom.

i havent been in the car, but frum pix the interior looks well bilt- on the outside l like the tailight styling

I beg to differ. As much as it would be nice, neither are supposed to be enthusiast sporty cars.
Anyways, the XG has good go, though. Today I read a review in my local newspaper stating that when u push the gas, it surges forward as if turbocharged. Too bad it isnt calibrated otherwise to be completely sporty.
