Thats what it looks like to me. I like the new S-Class type headlights and the chrome trim around the windows but i dont really care for the painted window surround below the chrome trim...too many lines and edges with this. This car looks to be a lil rough around the edges IE exhaust and area at bottom of fenders and doors so i would prolly expect a later sale date than the nf, that is if these pics are current.

No offense but those GM-I people have no clue ever! Be observant people! Anyways, yes this is the 2006 Kia Magentis/Optima. Can someone save that for me? I can't right now! Much appreciated! -->Andrew

Yes, unfortunately it will be ALMOST twinned.
However, interior changes would be nice, and it seems though, that the rear end is the same shape, just differently coloured lenses.

im actually eager to see what the next optima will lokk like since i really hate the look of the current one, they should of stuck with first gen... that's my favorite model the first gen... then they came out with the Hannibal grill then to the present which os more civilised look but somewhat still reminds me of hannibal... YOU SAID IT! The first gen optima was a wonderful design but kia really screwed up the optima in the last 2 years. It has to be the ugliest mid size sedan offered currently. I have a funny feeling that the optima will have a better looking rear end than the NF.

We need to give this car more attention. It's practically an NF Sonata, and we give that car ALOT of attention, after all. Anyways, I think the NF rear end is MUCH nicer...

well the reason i give the NF Sonata more attention is because that's the original car, thats the way it's supposed to look...i don't like the c-pillar of this car eith the chrome it really reminds me of the current gen Galant..another car i hate becasue it looks like a cheap design ripped off from the nissan altima...

I see lots of Galant in this, a bit from every generation. I must add, though, that that chrome around the windows isn't final. Alot of stuff on this car is messy and not final.
