i like this car... but i really like the all new spectra5 hatch...it looks hot and i agree it should give the Suzuki Aerio and Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe a run for their money...

OK, I like the idea of an "in-between" suspension setting ; what I mean is that it is supposedly set somewhere between the Elantra GLS soft setting and GT Elantra's firmer suspension settings. As jed Delinka said on autos.msn.com, he said Kia is trying to have a perfect balance between a soft ride and sporty ride(they tend to be slightly more on soft side, he said, but) they did a GOOD JOB, and it does have something close to sporty feel.
I need to test drive one. Unfortunately, the clsoest dealership is about 45 miles one way, and I rarely drive that way, so it will have to wait.
The biggest complaint I have ran into is NOT quality issues, but is the dealership experience(such as service centers).
One dealership I know of has about 80 Kia's on the lot, but only one bay, 2 mechanics(not joking). That is not "cool".
Down the street, though, they have a larger Hyundai dealership with 15 "bays", and as many mechanics on the job daily. Big difference there.
If Hyundai does NOT do a "in-between"(suspension, like Spectra) on next gen Elantra.... may have to check out the Spectra. Elantra got 7.7 from this one editor, while the new Spectra got an 8.0(out of 10).
We shall see, we have 2 years until car buying time here in this family.
