read in my autoweek magazine(21june04 issue...coming out on stands Monday the 21st)........ they show a very nice looking Nissan March car(Class B?)..... they spoke of the Cube coming here to do combat against Scion. Then they say that they were asked bY Nissan(a ton of editors when they were overseas for Japan autoshow awhile back, something like this) which cars should be made for overseas? March was the winner! 2000lbs, 1.8 liter 4, 107 HP(?)... and a few other fun facts. Think it may be the length of the Accent, or appears to be.
IT looks good, like a futuristic little sports car, maybe "cooler" than mini cooper. I know Nissan sold us a bad product in 97... but if this thing came out, and was big enough (say close to old Sentra size of about 168" length)... and say 13K loaded?
Hmmm.......
Sorry to digress; Hyudnai should "get the Getz" here, or a modified version, for either Hyundai, or maybe even Kia, since they want Kia to become the cheap, fun, youthful, sporty division.
Dump the Rio in a few years, and repalce it with Getz, or really fix up the Rio to look "wild" like March, and others in this group.

If I was running things at HMA (which I'm not), I'd bring in a production version of that Australian turbo Getz at a fixed price and option package as a 2005 limited model to pave the way for the regular Getz lineup in 2006 with the next-gen Accent. Then I'd hire a half-dozen guys and gals to tour the country and run the test mules at local dragstrips and autocross. Why spend money on ads when people will talk about your car on the internet for free?

it would cost too much money to sell a getz like the one mentioned... what you could do is sell the getz here and have Hyundai and hyundai dealers sell H.A.R.D parts for the car...
