ABS was available on the 1st gen accent... a small abs sticker on the edge of the trunk will let you know that it has it. I have only seen 3 accents with abs since 96 or so.
I cant wait for the new 3.3 V6 and the MUCH needed updates to the santa fe.

Izzit?
I definitely do agree with you, though, on the 3.3L part! It even sounds neat!

5 door elantra with cloth, that should keep the cost down 850-1000 dollars vs leather.
I want a hcd-8! That is what they should bring out, late next year, say 6 months after sonata! lol.

You guys have no idea how much crap we got from dealers over dropping Chanpagne for Hazelnut and Seashell. That was a bad idea. Everything I listed was from an in-house memo. I figured, hell it must not be a secret if they sent copies to HMF(finance). They don't usually get anything. But that the whole rundown. Hope it answered some questions. By the way, lots and lots of talk of getting that 3.3L in the Tibs as soon as possible.

megadethmartyr?
I saw a different-looking Santa Fe today with Tucson-style sladding, over the wheel arches and everything while I was sitting at a robot.
Was this the 2006?

Might have been, I haven't seen one yet so I can't say for sure. There is extra cladding going over thewheel wells. Customers were complaining that when they look at their Santa Fe's, if yuo look just right, it looks like they had been hit (rear doors). The cladding should take care of that. By, the way, how the hell were you sitting at a robot? Did you see the rear or the front? Both have changed as well.
