I live in England. Yesterday in the "news of the world" newspaper i saw a article in the motor section about the new sonata. It said that a Navigation System was to be put on the car. I'm not sure if this is the Audio onlt Smartnav system we can get over here or if it is the Mozen system. Also we are only getting 2.0 and a 2.4 engines unlike the 2.7 V6 we can allready get over here. So America may get the navi system. Who knows?

If the U.S. market does end up getting the NAV, expect the 05 XG to get it too. Hell, I think they should put the rain sensitive wipers on the XG in the states. They have in Korea and those are cool as hell.

just got some information on the release of the NF in the US. It is schelduled to be released early May 2005 as a 2006. Some other news I heard from the HMA National Delaer Mtg was that the car on display had chrome wheels, and tha the leather seats were now soft, unlike the hard seats the Sonata EF has!!! More info to come!

The leather is most definately softer. Hyundai is currently building 1 sonata a day right now to make sure all bugs are out of the build process down in AL.

From hyundai public relations. The only english words were MADE IN THE USA so i take it this is one of the bama sonatas and the engine appears to be the new V6.
