Aren't you in the USA? On what program did you see this? (PS. I like noisy, churtling diesels... they give a feeling of power when you drive. But this sounds beyond respectable. C'mon Hyundai...)

i heard the korean version of the tucson with a diesel engine.... man i got to say.. Hyundai needs to put some more money into diesel engine R&D... because it;s very noisy... i was watching it on tv and... man i could hear the diesel engine more than the people talking on the microphone... they need to develop quieter diesel engines... I don't see the point of driving a diesel car if you're living in the US. If you're in Europe however, diesel has its significant advantages.

well wiht gas prices going up here in the U.S diesel cars are suddenly looking more and more attractive...
i was watching it on a korean channel we get here...i don't think it's shown in whole of the U.S just in SoCal... because there is a pretty large Korean-American population...may be it sounded loud because they were so close, with the microphone, to the car...

...may be it sounded loud because they were so close, with the microphone, to the car... It could be the mic. But according to a 4Car review by John Simister, the Tucson's diesel sounded a little "course" like a Toyota (not meant as a compliment) instead of a Peugeot.

The black interior was a pleasant surprise, especially after seeing all those spy shots with beige interiors. Hopefully, Kia will replicate the Cerato's theme by using soft plastics for the Sportage, to have the feel to go with the looks. About that screen, it could be a DVD player. There were no commentaries from the source.
